Corner Table in Houston

The atmosphere, the food, the staff, the cocktails, and that dessert tray! Whenever my girlfriends and I want to go out and splurge for a treat that is plenty worth it, we go to Corner Table. Their array of Paleo options are incredible!

Never paid to be treated so poorly. Reservations mean nothing...our small group was asked to move three times!

This place is amazingly different from just any other restaurant in town. The decor is one of a kind, there is a dining area for every occasion and the dance area is nice and cozy. I absolutely loved the presentation and taste of the food. It is a great place to go to break from the routine.

I've been to corner table for brunch and it was amazing. Dinner tonight was just okay. Let me state that I have never left a review, ever. However I feel like this is warranted because I had such high hopes but was let down after I had talked it up so much. The crab stuffed shells were a little too fishy smelling, my paperdelle was over salted (and I like salt). The most unfortunate part of our experience was that the bread pudding was cold and the creme brûlée was warm, hadn't set and was therefore soupy. Very disappointed.

I found this restaurant on Google maps and I loved it. Amazing food and ambiance. Definitely will be going back again. Thanks for a great experience.

Tried it out for the first time 2 weeks ago and the food was great! Wonderful service and beautiful environment.

Poor business relationship with vendors. Owner refuses to return calls or emails. We will not assist her again. Very disorganized.

Does not exist anymore, merged with the French place next door with strict dress code.

The restaurant had too many people and our order has been delayed by a lot, the manager apologized many times and ended up paying for the dinner for all 8 of us. It was a little disappointing but nice after all.

Had a great experience when trying out this place for the first time. We had the crab & avocado tower, the paleo risotto, and the stuffed chicken. We really enjoyed our food - I thought the risotto was excellent. They had a wide selection of wine and the ambience was great. Our waiter was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The food is a little bit on the higher side, but it shouldn't be a surprise. If you check out the menu before hand, you know what you're getting in to. I do think as much as you're spending at the restaurant, it's a bit ridiculous to have to pay an additional $5 for the valet. Overall, I had a positive experience here. I would go back, but try to find street parking.

I just celebrated my birthday at the Corner Table, I'm sure the rest of my party would agree that they were superb. The food was wonderful, my steak was cooked to perfection and their service was excellent. We danced the night away at The Oak. I would not hesitate going back.

We had been excited to go there and after trying to figure out how to get in we were told they were closed until Dec 1. Why wouldn't you put that on your website?? Very frustrating. So we went to our reliable paleo, ruggles black! My favorite!

The food used to be good when chef Bruce was here now it's terrible. All of the good reviews are from his food. Please bring chef Bruce back!

As per usual, had an amazing meal at Corner Table this weekend! The staff is always friendly and prompt and the food never disappoints!

I absolutely loveee this place! Their atmosphere it's refreshing along with their beautiful & modern decorations. Their seafood is amazing as well as their desserts, which I am crazy about!

Nice to eat outdoors, and decor fine...server young and obviously inexperienced...food was lousy - spring rolls with zero taste, a mediocre salad, and a foie gras kobe burger that was not hot enough and tough...mediocre but expensive wine by the glass...to add insult to injury, they charge for valet parking...

Reservations were made for 5 people a week in advance and confirmed the morning of our event. We arrived at the restaurant and the hostess was very rude and appeared to not have our table available. They wanted to seat 5 of us at a booth for 4 that was butted against a wall. We asked to move and they put us at the same type of booth, just not up against a wall, so there was a little more room. Ten minutes later the manager rudely comes to our table to tell us she needs to move us back to the other smaller booth. We refuse. She becomes insistent until we ask to see the owner by name since two people in our party know him. The manager then backtracks and says she was there to apologize for us not getting the correct table and was never going to move us. Our waiter was extremely gracious, but the food was not up to it's usual quality. Some of it was luke warm and the pizza was burnt. It was not our first time there, but it will be our last.

The hummus, seasfood capellini with spaghetti squash and chicken with orzo and mushrooms were EXCELLENT. Best unsweetened mango tea EVER. Service was outstanding. A little pricey....

Absolutely outstanding food, service and environment. What a good feeling to know that despite all of my diet changes in these recent months - there IS a restaurant that has it all that I can enjoy, including dessert. The fried chicken was perfect. I haven't had fried chicken in months since I went gluten and dairy free. Big thumbs up to Corner Table.

Cool and groovy atmosphere

I went here for dinner one night and I really enjoyed it. Great atmosphere and wine selection!

Food and service was great at Corner Table. However the valet is another story! We ended dinner and drinks at 11pm and waited at least 20 mins in this huge line for our car. Everyone was asking if they could get their own cars but due to policy they said they couldn't allow it. They were under staffed for whatever reason, but whatever reason it was, it needs to be fixed!!! ASAP!

I would not hesitate to dine here again or to recommend it to anyone. A beautiful restaurant. Attentive service. Very fine food. I especially enjoyed the gumbo as an appetizer and the chocolate bread pudding as dessert. The quality of both of these was impressive. Now, I have to acknowledge that I am more sensitive to salt than most people and I would have loved to have seen the salt reduced by half. But for most everyone else this would be a non-issue.On the day that I went, the chef, front of the room manager and the owner all made rounds to greet the diners and assure that everything was good. Impressive.The wall decorations include some lovely Chagall and Miro paintings. All in all the place had the feeling of a Viennese cafe that I used to go to when working in Europe.

I have celiac disease and Corner Table always goes above and beyond to accommodate me! Food is always incredible and service is so good! Ive never had a bad experience!

The Corner Table offers great food, that is the honest truth. However, you should be aware that the wait staff and bartenders will cheat on your order at first opportunity they get. We were at Corner Table celebrating my wife's b-day with party of 20 people. Corner Table is not ready to accommodate large party's at all. They piece milled our tables in room with poor ventilation. The room was very hot and the couches were quite uncomfortable. We caught our waiter trying to open wines that we did not order. In any case, be sure to review your bill prior to signing it.

While visiting family in Houston, we visited Corner Table. The food was fabulous and the menu offered something for everyone in our group. I had some of the best food I have ever had at Corner Table. The wait staff was very attentive, but almost seemed invisible so as not to disturb us. I felt "cool" eating at this fun and exciting restaurant.

Corner Table is definitely my most favorite restaurant in H-Town. Wonderful staff and great food! The atmosphere is amazing and I love the outside areas. Safe surroundings and valet available also.
